QA Test Management Platform
A centralized enterprise platform designed to streamline the end-to-end software testing lifecycle. The system enables QA teams to manage test repositories, upload test cases from Excel, execute test runs, monitor testing progress, generate reports, and perform release signoffs through a single integrated application.

Overview
Organizations often manage software testing activities across multiple spreadsheets, shared folders, and disconnected tools. This creates inefficiencies in maintaining test cases, executing test runs, tracking automation coverage, and obtaining release approvals.
To address these challenges, I designed a web-based QA Test Management Platform that centralizes all major testing workflows into a single application. The platform enables teams to upload and organize test cases, manage repositories, track execution progress, generate testing metrics, and streamline release signoff processes.
The solution was designed with flexibility in mind, allowing different projects and teams to customize repository structures and test case metadata without requiring changes to the application itself.
Outcomes
The final solution significantly improved the efficiency of QA operations by reducing manual processes and centralizing testing activities.
Reduced manual test case creation through Excel-based imports.
Improved accessibility to test repositories and project assets.
Simplified navigation between testing workflows.
Increased visibility into testing progress and automation coverage.
Streamlined release signoff and approval processes.
Supported multiple project structures through configurable metadata mapping.
Reduced onboarding effort for new QA engineers through intuitive workflows.
Problem Statement
Challenge
QA teams were heavily dependent on spreadsheets and shared drives for maintaining test repositories and tracking testing activities.
Common issues included:
Test cases scattered across multiple locations.
Manual migration of Excel data into testing tools.
Difficulty tracking execution progress
.
Time-consuming release approval processes.
Inconsistent test case structures across projects.
As repositories grew larger, managing folders, test cases, and execution data became increasingly difficult.
Goal
The primary objectives were:
Centralize all QA-related workflows.
Reduce manual data entry and migration.
Improve accessibility to testing assets.
Provide visibility into testing metrics.
Support flexible project structures.
Simplify release readiness assessments.
Improve collaboration between QA teams and stakeholders.
